SCAM ALERT
Local residents have reported receiving phone calls claiming to be Winneshiek County Sheriff’s Office staff or representatives. The scammers have been live voices with foreign accents.
These calls are scams!
Please remember you should never share personal information with an unknown caller, including credit card information or any other form of identifying information. If you receive one of these scam calls, simply hand up the phone. If you are concerned the Winneshiek County Sheriff’s Office may be trying to get a hold of you, call us at 563-382-4268.
