On 03/01/2025 at approximately 5:12pm the Postville Police Department along with the assistance of Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the Allamakee County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant at 216 Oak Drive in Postville for a Forgery and Identity Theft investigation. Multiple fraudulent documents were seized. The search warrant resulted in 4 adult arrests.

Melvin Veliz Pacheco of Postville is charged with Forgery - D Felony & Interference With Official Acts.
The investigation is still ongoing and further charges pending.
