Postville Firearm Charges

On 03/14/2025 the Postville Police Department responded to a call regarding a male subject within the city limits of Postville that was discharging a firearm from a vehicle. The vehicle was later located and the subject fled the scene.

On 04/03/2025 the Postville Police Department located the subject, identified as Christian Rivera Serrano (of Postville). Christian was arrested for his active arrest warrants. 3 search warrants were executed during this investigation. During the search warrant of Christian’s residence, a firearm was located along with marijuana.

The defendant was arrested and transported to the Allamakee County Jail. The defendant is charged with Possession of a Firearm While Under the Influence, Reckless Use of a Firearm, Reckless Driving, Driving While Revoked, Discharging a Firearm Over a Roadway, and Possession of Marijuana 1st Offense.

The Postville Police Department was assisted by the Allamakee County Sheriff's Office, the Clayton County Sheriff's Office, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF).
