On February 13th, 2025, at approximately 7:37 PM, a Fayette County Deputy was dispatched to a Car/Deer accident near the intersection of Lincoln Road and Great River Road in Fayette County, IA. Upon Deputy arrival, it was determined that Bethany Loyd, 46 of West Union was driving a 2017 Yukon Denali when a deer entered the roadway and struck the vehicle. There were no injuries reported and the vehicle received an estimated $5000.00 damage.
