The Marquette City Council held discussion on naming the park in the Timber Ridge Subdivision and the Ballpark on the Bench. The proposal is to name the park after the late Jason Winter and the Ballpark for the Elliot Family, who were instrumental in the creation of the ballpark. The Council will discussion a resolution for the naming idea at it’s December meeting.
