Federal Arrest Warrant

On February 22nd, 2025, at approximately 1936 hours, Fayette County Deputies were requested to assist Oelwein Police Department with a warrant check at 514 2nd St SE, Oelwein, IA 50662, due to a male at the residence having a Federal Warrant from the US Marshal’s Office. Upon arrival, Deputies and Officers made contact with residents and observed the wanted subject attempting to flee the residence. Subsequently, Matthew Tully Schoeneck (age 35) was placed under arrest and transported to the Fayette County Jail where he will await extradition by the U.S. Marshal’s Office.
