On February 21st, 2025 at approximately 8:42pm a Fayette County Deputy made a traffic stop on Cedar Rd near 215th St Elgin. After further investigation it was learned that Lawrence Joseph McTaggart, age 60, of Strawberry Point was operating while intoxicated. McTaggart was transported to the Fayette County Jail where he was held until his initial appearance. McTaggart is being charged with Operating While Intoxicated 1st Offense and Open Container.
