Fayette County Motorcycle Accident

On April 22nd, 2025, at approximately 7:37 pm the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call of a single vehicle motorcycle accident on Ivy Rd, near Lincoln Rd Fayette. Upon Deputies’ arrival it was learned that Justin Michael Klendworth 42 of Oelwein was traveling west bound when he approached a curve in the road and lost control of his motorcycle. Klendworth sustained serious injuries from the accident. The Fayette County Sheriff's Office was assisted by the Fayette Ambulance Service, Iowa State Patrol, and the University of Iowa Air Care.
