On March 4, 2025 at approximately 8:35 PM the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office was called to a civil dispute at a residence in rural Elgin. Upon investigation 39-year-old Sarah Jean Rose of Elgin was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated 1st Offense. Rose was transported to the Fayette County Jail and later appeared before a Magistrate.
