On 12-12-24 the Fayette County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call reporting an accident along Hwy 93 east of M Ave. Upon further investigation the driver of the 2016 Ford truck Austin C. Hansen age 29 of Belmont WI was traveling east when the steering column broke. The vehicle entered the south ditch, went through the fence, and struck a tree. No one was injured and the vehicle sustained approx.. $4500.00 in damages.
