Dubuque County Burglary

A Cedar Rapids man, facing an April 30th trial in Delaware County, has been charged in connection with a convenience store burglary in Dubuque County. 64-year old Kevin D. Young was arrested at the Dubuque Law Enforcement Center on Wednesday on a warrant charging him with third-degree burglary in connection with a break-in into the Luxemburg Liquor, Gas, and Tobacco store on December 31st. Young and another individual allegedly broke into the business and gained access to the cash register and safe and left with tobacco products. Documents state that approximately one hour earlier, two individuals had committed a burglary at Cork n' Bottle in Manchester. Video footage helped identify Young as a suspect in that incident along with other burglaries in central and eastern Iowa.
