On Friday, December 6th, 2024, at approximately 1:30 p.m., Sheriff Dale McCullick reports that the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office responded to a one vehicle rollover traffic crash on WI-STH 131 in the Village of Bell Center. The driver, Kieth Bankes (18) of Gays Mills, was operating a pickup truck southbound on STH 131 when he lost control, traveled off the roadway, and overturned multiple times. Bankes sustained minor injuries, and the pickup truck was a total loss. Bankes was cited for inattentive driving, operating left of center, and no insurance. The sheriff’s office was assisted by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.
