The Clayton County Sheriff’s Office proudly congratulates Investigator Mark Kautman on his appointment as Chief Deputy.
Chief Deputy Kautman has dedicated 30 years to serving the citizens of Clayton County, including 27 years with the Clayton County Sheriff’s Office. His unwavering commitment to our community, extensive experience, and strong leadership have earned him this respected position.
Appointed by Sheriff Brent Ostrander, Chief Deputy Kautman will oversee the direct supervision of all sworn Deputy Sheriffs and departmental assignments. We are confident that under his leadership, the Clayton County Sheriff’s Office will continue to uphold the highest standards of service and integrity.
