Becky Jane Wulfekuhle of Edgewood

Becky Jane Wulfekuhle, 74, of Edgewood, Iowa, passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2025, at the Edgewood Convalescent Home in Edgewood. She was born on August 6, 1950, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Maurice and Florence (Ralston) Heath. Becky was raised and educated in the St. Louis, Missouri area and was a high school graduate.


On July 16, 1983, Becky was united in marriage to Daniel Wulfekuhle at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. Three children were born to this union. Together the couple farmed near Edgewood. Becky spent her life as a wonderful mother and homemaker.


Becky enjoyed summers at Holiday Lake with her family, playing cards with friends and was member of several card clubs. She also enjoyed caring for animals and loved her pets but most of all she was a proud Grandma.


Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Danny Wulfekuhle of Edgewood; her four children, Kari (Duane) Johnson, Andy (Kathleen) Wulfekuhle, Bonnie (Mitch Hunt) Wulfekuhle, and Emily (Kent) Gourley; six grandchildren, Tyler Wulfekuhle, Max Wulfekuhle, Justin Hunt, Annabelle Wulfekuhle, Dean Gourley and Nick Gourley; brother, David (Judy) Heath; brothers -in-law, Harry (Kathy) Wulfekuhle and Don Irwin; sisters-in-law, Judy Wulfekuhle, Linda (Al) Williams, and Deb (Larry) Philipp.


Becky was preceded in death by her parents, Maurice and Florence Heath; her parents-in-law, Harold and Marie Wulfekuhle; siblings, Bonnie Applegate, Audrey (Gary) Taylor, Sharon Irwin, Phillip (Frances) Heath; brothers-in-law, Dr. Ken Wulfekuhle and Mike Wulfekuhle.


In lieu of flowers or memorials the family request that donations may be made to the charity of your choice in Becky’s honor.


The family would like to thank Above and Beyond Hospice and Edgewood Convalescent Home for their care of Becky.


Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Edgewood is assisting the family.
