February 1st Scores

The Ed-Co Girls used an 11-3 run to start the fourth quarter to grab the lead and went on to a 37-33 win over Starmont.  Annie Hoffman led Ed-Co off the bench with 11-points and 8-rebounds.  Liz Meisner and Bailee Helle added 10-each.  Vanessa Hamlet led Starmont with 18-points and 16-rebounds.  Sarah Pech added 13.  It was a close game throughout.  Ed-Co had an early seven point lead at 19-12.  The Stars biggest lead reached five at 28-23 early in the fourth, until the Lady Vikings run.  Ed-Co is now 3 and 16, 2 and 10 in the Conference.  Starmont falls to 1 and 16, 0 and 10 in the League.

The Ed-Co Boys wore down Starmont in the second-half of a 89-57 win.  Ethan Streicher led the Vikings with 26.  Park Rochford tallied 18-points.  Riley Ashline scored 13 and Keegan Hansel contributed 10.  Starmont was led by Henry Hamlett with 18.  Jake Fenton added 12-off the bench and Chris Baumgartner scored 11.  The Vikings and Stars played a fast pace half with Ed-Co leading 45-35 at the break.  The Vikings then put it away by outscoring the Stars 24-10 in the third.  Ed-Co is now 12 and 6, 7 and 4 in the Conference.  Starmont falls to 1 and 15, 1 and 9 in the League.
