WEST CENTRAL SCORED TWO OUTS IN THE BOTTOM OF THE SEVENTH INNING TO PULL OUT A 4-3 REGIONAL OPENING WIN OVER ED-CO.  MARY MC-DONOUGH WORKED SEVEN SOLID INNINGS, SCATTERING NINE HITS.  MC-DONOUGH ALLOWED JUST THREE RUNS, WALKED THREE AND STRUCK OUT FOUR.  MARY MICHAELS SINGLED IN A RUN.  MC-DONOUGH ALSO SINGLED.  MARLEE SQUIRES THE NUMBER NINE HITTER WALKED TO START THE BOTTOM OF THE SEVENTH.  LEADOFF HITTER BRAIDYN BUHROW WALKED.  A WILD PITCH ALLOWED BOTH TO REACH SECOND AND THIRD.  SQUIRS SCORED ON A FIELDERS CHOICE TO TIE IT UP.  BUHROW THEN SCORED THE WINNING RUN ON A PASS BALL.  FOR ED-CO, HOPE MATHER HAD TWO DOUBLES, DROVE IN A RUN AND SCORED.  KAITLYN RONNEBAUM HAD TWO HITS.  MACKENZIE SCHMITZ HAD TWO HITS AND DROVE IN A PAIR.  THE LADY VIKINGS OUTHIT THE BLUE DEVILS 9-3.  ED-CO CLOSES THE SEASON 17 AND 14.  WEST CENTRAL IS NOW 14 AND 20.  THE BLUE DEVILS PLAY STARMONT AT COLESBURG ON WEDNESDAY NIGHT AT 7PM.
