Two vehicle crash - no injury

Subjects Involved: Driver: Dennis McFall (63) Rockford IL Passenger: Steven Hall (71)

Driver: Jonathan Morehead (26) Potosi WI.

Vehicles Involved: McFall was driving a 2011 Chevy Impala Morehead was driving a 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix

On Sunday, July 22, 2018 at approximately 4:10 P.M the Grant County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to CTH B near Harrison Road in Harrison Township for a two vehicle accident. After speaking with the subjects involved it was determined McFall missed a turn onto Harrison Road, he pulled over after a curve to attempt a U-Turn when Morehead came around the curve and struck McFall in the roadway. Both vehicles slid off the roadway and came to a rest a field on the south side of the roadway. There were no injuries reported.

The McFall vehicle was towed by Precision Auto from Platteville & Morehead's vehicle was towed by Donnie's Tire & Tow from Dickeyville.

The McFall vehicle received heavy driver side damage the side airbags did deploy. The Morehead vehicle received heavy front end damage the airbags did not deploy.

McFall was cited for Failure to yield right away. Morehead was cited for operating while suspended and having no insurance on his vehicle.

Two vehicle crash - no injuries

On 7-25-18 at approximately 9:44am, George Curry 70 of Platteville, was driving northbound on HWY 151 in the right lane in Jamestown Township. Jack Trussell, 86 of Topeka Kansas was also northbound and in the left lane. Jack went to get in the right lane to take an exit and Jack's 2017 Chevy struck Curry's 2006 Buick. There was minor damage to both vehicle and no one including Jack's passenger Joan Fleshman, age 83 of Topeka Kansas, were injured. The crash remains under investigation.

On 7-25-18 at approximately 10:45am, Jordan stricker, 23 of Platteville, was northbound on hwy 80 in Smelser Township. Jordan slowed down for a slow moving tractor and was rear ended by Trent Schroeder, 16 of Lancaster. Jordan's 1992 Honda sustained minor damage. Trent's 2002 Pontiac sustained heavy front end damage and was towed from the scene by Donnies Towing. No one in the crash was injured including a Trent's juvenile female passenger. The crash remains under investigation.
