Discussed Building Projects

·       Bathroom Renovations: They have pulled the toilets and sinks out of the bathrooms at both the Elementary & High School. Flooring started on Friday. Jim Stone did painting in the HS commons bathrooms and the small ones by the Elementary lunch room. He should be done with the first two coats and will have touch up spots to complete. Ceiling tiles have been gutted out of bathrooms and the new grid is up. Some flanges in the Elementary bathrooms will need to be redone.

·       Parking Lot Project: Approving the Survey agreements.

·       HS Gym Roof/Painting: Gym roof is scheduled for the week of June 18th.  The painters will follow once the roof is complete. The downspouts will be done as well.

·       Weight Room: Open Specialist will be here this summer to replace the panic bar, lock, and new hardware for the main door. They will install an electric strike for future access. Meyer Mechanical will come in and get the air back up and running on the south unit. They will spend a day trouble shooting in the District office as well.

·       Boilers: Planning to start in July with Brenke for recommended repairs in both buildings.

·       Elementary Concrete: Chris is planning to start the concrete after the 4th of July. Plan is the East sidewalks and NE Drive. Still not sure if he will need to use a pump truck or not. The bids were as followed: Grand total with Pump truck: $17,980.00. Grand total without Pump Truck: $17,280.00

·       Football field - Chris Funke with Pace Supply gave us a bid and is applying turface and shock wave treatment. It will be $2,930. Nic has talked to the old Sprinkler system installer and will flag out the lines before Funke comes.
