On June 9, 2018, at approximately 6:24 a.m., the Delaware County Sheriff's Office was called to a single vehicle accident on X49. Victoria L. Moll, of Colesburg, IA, was heading northbound on X49 when the vehicle crossed the center line and drove off the road into the west ditch. Moll was cited with Failure to Maintain Control and Violation of Financial Liability - Accident.

On June 7, 2018, at approximately 11:44 p.m., the Delaware County Sheriff's Office was called to a vehicle-deer accident on Hwy 13. Alexa J. Dunn, of Manchester, IA, was traveling south on Hwy 13 when she came upon a deer standing in the roadway and was unable to avoid striking the animal.

On June 7, 2018, at approximately 5:00 p.m., the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to an accident on 110th Avenue and 250th Street. Gary Hilby, of Manchester, IA, was traveling northbound on 110th Avenue pulling a farm equipment tank with approximately 400 gallons of liquid. While Hilby was turning west onto 250th Street he lost control due to the shifting of the liquid in the tank causing it to overturn.

On June 1, 2018, at approximately 12:30 p.m. the Delaware County Sheriff's Office was called to a vehicle-deer accident on Hwy 38 just south of Hopkinton. Joshua Tri, of Hopkinton, IA was traveling north on Hwy 38 when a deer that ran onto the roadway and Tri was unable to avoid striking the deer.

On May 27, 2018, at approximately 10:13 p.m. the Delaware County Sheriff's Office was called to a vehicle-deer accident on Hwy 20 near mile marker 284. Joseph Frome, of Richardson, TX, was traveling eastbound on Hwy 20 when he struck a deer that ran onto the roadway.

On May 27, 2018, at approximately 8:46 p.m. the Delaware County Sheriff's Office was called to a motorcycle accident on Hwy 20 near 245th Street. Steven L. Airey of Marshalltown, IA, was traveling westbound on Hwy 20 when the rear tire blew out. He was able to slow down to approximately 40 mph before losing control and ending up in the median. Airey and his passenger received minor injuries.

On May 26, 2018, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office conducted a traffic stop on Hwy 3 and North Washington Street in Edgewood, IA. Augustin G. Mormann, of Colesburg, IA, was charged with Driving While License Denied or Revoked. He was also cited with Operating Non-Registered Vehicle and Failure to Provide Proof of Insurance.

On May 23, 2018, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office received several calls regarding suspicious activity, vehicle theft and theft of gas in Earlville, IA. Upon investigation, Zachary M. Carr, of Epworth, IA, was charged with Operate Vehicle Without Owner's Consent, Theft 2nd Degree, Theft 5th Degree, Burglary 3rd Degree - Motor Vehicle, Child Endangerment. Carr was also cited with Operating Non-Registered Vehicle, Fail to Provide Proof of Insurance.

On June 10, 2018, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office served a warrant on Terrell L. Quinn, of LaCrosse, WI, for Failure to Appear.

On June 6, 2018, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office served a warrant on Derek D. Lubben, of Earlville, IA, for Failure to Appear.

On June 2, 2018, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office served a warrant on Brent Hovden, of Calmar, IA, for Failure to Appear.

On June 2, 2018, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office served a mittimus on Justin T. Wiedner, of Dyersville, IA, for failure to serve jail time.

On June 2, 2018, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office served a warrant on Clayton E. Shady, of Maquoketa, IA, for Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Registry. The charge comes after Shady moved out of Delaware County but did not report such move to the Sheriff's Office as required.

On June 1, 2018, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office served a warrant on Bronwyn Snodgrass, of Dorchester, IA, for Failure to Appear.

On May 31, 2018, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office served a warrant on David P. Steil, of Colesburg, IA, for Theft 5th Degree. The charge stems from an incident reported by the City of Colesburg regarding theft of city water.

On May 31, 2018, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office received a call of suspicious activity at the beach at Backbone State Park. Evelyn P. Saravia, of Iowa City, IA, was charged with Public Intoxication.

On May 30, 2018, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office charged Justin J. Schrader, of Manchester, IA, with
Violation of No Contract / Protective Order. The charge stems from an incident which occurred at the Delaware County Jail when Schrader had a message passed to the protected party.
