Manchester Arrest

On or about May 11, 2018, the Manchester Police received numerous reports of car burglaries. A three week investigation uncovered two adults and one juvenile committed the burglaries. The three individuals went through residential areas in the southern, central, and northern areas of Manchester looking for unlocked automobiles. They removed items including money and other valuable items.

 

Arrested: June 07, 2018:

 

Tino Wilson (age 18) of Manchester, Iowa

 

Charge:

 

10 counts of Burglary of an Automobile - Aggravated Misdemeanor

1 count of Attempted Burglary of a Motor Vehicle – Serious Misdemeanor

4th Degree Theft – Serious Misdemeanor

5th Degree Theft – Simple Misdemeanor

4th Degree Criminal Mischief – Serious Misdemeanor

 

Arrested: June 08, 2018:

 

Seth Scott Chapman (age 18) of Manchester, Iowa

 

Charges:

 

Trafficking in Stolen Weapons – Class D Felony

Theft 3rd Degree – Aggravated Misdemeanor

 

Charged (Juvenile):

 

10 counts of Burglary of an Automobile - Aggravated Misdemeanor

1 count of Attempted Burglary of a Motor Vehicle – Serious Misdemeanor

2 counts 5th Degree Theft – Simple Misdemeanor

 

 

On June 07, 2018, the Manchester Police Department received a report of a fight taking place at the Manchester Aquatic Center. Staff at the pool informed law enforcement a subject had been assaulted by the defendant. When officers arrived on the scene they found the defendant and attempted to place him under arrest for an active arrest warrant. The defendant fled the scene and was later taken into custody after a short foot chase.
