Postville Council

The Postville City Council set June 11th as the date for a public hearing on plans and specs for phase two of the Sanitary Sewer Project.  It is estimated to cost 1.1-million.  The city will also hold a public hearing to borrow 750-thousan dollars to help pay for the project.  The city has also received a grant.
The Postville Council was informed that the Fire Department will turn financial information over to the city for an audit.  The move was made to be more transparent with the public.  Jeff Bohr was approved as Fire Chief.
The Council approved flooring for City Hall at a cost of 11-thousand.
