Fayette Releases

On 3-24-18, at approximately 1:15 PM, the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office received a call of a vehicle in the ditch near 165th St. and Highway 150, just north of Fayette.  When deputies arrived on scene the vehicle was unoccupied.  Through an investigation, it was found that Mark Mcgonigle, 56 of Fredericksburg, was southbound on Highway 150, when he lost control of the 2000 Dodge Dakota due to weather conditions and slid into the ditch.   No injuries were reported and damage to the vehicle was minimal.

On 3-25-18, at approximately 12:15 PM, the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office took multiple calls of vehicles in the ditch.  Deputies responded to T Avenue and 40th St, where it was found that Rudy Gingerich, 18 of Waverly, was southbound on T Avenue Gingerich hit a slick spot in the road causing the 2004 Grand Prix to slide into the ditch.  No injuries were sustained and minimal damage to the vehicle. 

On 3-25-18, at approximately 12:35 PM, Fayette County Deputies responded to 70th St. and R Avenue, where it was found that Deann Loeb, 57 of Jesup, was northbound on R Avenue, when Loeb hit a slick spot on the highway causing the 2007 Ford Freestlyle to slide into the ditch.  No injuries were sustained and damage to the vehicle was minimal.
