Slide off crash - No injuries
On 02/07/2018 at approximately 11:30 a.m., Bradley L. Reynolds, age 16 of Potosi, was traveling westbound on Dogtail Rd. when he failed to negotiate a corner. While turning, the 2017 Buick Encore slid sideways, went across the roadway and struck a fence,deploying the airbags.  Bradley sustained very minor lacerations to his hand. There were two other juvenile passengers that were not injured. The vehicle was removed from the scene by Donnie's Tire and Tow, of Dickeyville. The crash remains under investigation.

One vehicle crash
On 02-11-2018 at 1:15 am, Dawn Cerney age 44, of Platteville was operating her 2013 Honda Accord, northbound on Hwy 80 when it went off the right side of the roadway striking an embankment before coming to rest. Cerney got a ride from there and ultimately reported this crash at approximately 7:25 am. Vehicle was towed from the ditch by Munyons Towing and Cerney will be issued a citation for Failure to report the

crash.
Two Vehicle crash with injury
On February 11, 2018 around 1:10 p.m., the Grant county Sheriff's Office received a call about a two vehicle crash on south bound side of Highway 151 at the intersection of Southwest Road in Platteville Township. During the crash investigation it was discovered a 2006 Chevrolet Impala, operated by 19 ear old Alieah Alexander from Dousman Wisconsin was traveling south bound and drove her car into the rear end of a 2011 Jeep Grant Cherokee operated by 65 year old Jody Iler from Dubuque that was traveling in the same direction. This caused the Iler vehicle to to spin out of control and skid to a stop near the median on the southbound side. Alieah's vehicle came to rest on the shoulder of the south bound lane of travel. Alieah was transported to South West Health center with non life threatening injuries. Jody and Passenger Robert Iler were not transported and able to drive their vehicle home. Assisting at the scene was Donnie's Towing from Dickeyville, Platteville Fire and Southwest EMS. The crash remains under investigation.
