Clayton Ridge Board

The Clayton Ridge Board held their monthly meeting tonight where the following action took place:

1)  Approved a payment to Estes in the amount of $59,759 for construction management.
2)  Approved lane change requests from Karen Reichard and Nick Brown.
3)  Approved a resolution to transfer $250,000 each from Sales Tax and PPEL Funds to the new 2018 Building Project Fund.
4)  Denied 9 open enrollments into the Iowa Virtual Academy due to no proper education program to meet the needs of the students.
5)  Approved open enrollment as follows:  3 children of Dale & Michele Erthum to the Western Dubuque District;  Alexzander Purman from Central to Clayton Ridge for 2018-2019
6)  Approved the purchase of a cafeteria table for the middle school lunch room for a cost of $4,294.65.
7)  Approved the following out-of-state trips:  Senior Reality Check to Prairie du Chien, WI;  High School Merit Trip to Prairie du Chien, WI;  Spanish Club trip to Chicago, IL
8)  Approved facility use agreements for club volleyball to use the HS gym and Kids Kampus to use the HS Gym and MP Room for their community fun fest on March 23-24.
9)  Tabled the approval of a contract with Iowa Department of Administration Services to collect lunch debts.
10) Approved the purchase of an automated timing system for track and cross country meets from Lynx System Developers with the understanding that the district will purchase two laptops for $1,000 to operate the system and that the Booster Club will reimburse the district $17,160, the entire cost of the timing system.
11) Approved a payment to BLDD in the amount of $1,817.67.
12) Accepted the resignation of Pat Chettinger from the school lunch program effective immediately.
