The Clayton County Foundation for the Future is pleased to announce that Guttenberg native Emily Sadewasser has joined the staff as philanthropy coordinator.

Sadewasser will work to connect community leaders in Clayton County with causes they care about. By working with the Foundation, community leaders can learn about local causes in need of support. Depending on their philanthropic goals, donors may choose to contribute to nonprofit endowment funds at the Foundation or to create their own funds to support specific organizations or fields of interest.

Sadewasser comes to the Foundation with hands on experience as the former director of the Guttenberg Chamber of Commerce.

“In my position at the Guttenberg Chamber, I witnessed the impact that the Foundation has on small communities and the organizations that strive to make them better every day,” said Sadewasser. “As a young person living in Clayton County, I hope to encourage other young people to get involved in bettering their communities and supporting causes they care about. I look forward to supporting the Foundation’s mission and role in Clayton County’s growth.”
