The Guttenberg City Council has set March 6th as the date to vote on a new aquatic center.  The resolution approved calls for voters to decide if the city should enter into a loan agreement and borrow money not to exceed 2.8-million for the aquatic center.  60-percent approval is needed to pass the issue.
The Council approved a 50-cent increase in solid waste collection and disposal fees due to an increase in the contract.
The Union presented the initial bargining proposal to the city.   They are asking for a 58-cent increase with benefits to remain the same.
