INDEPENDENCE, Iowa (AP) - Lawyers for former "Bachelor" star Chris Soules' are trying to get the case kicked out of court. The defense attorney for Soules says the reality TV star shouldn't have to face a charge of leaving the scene of a fatal accident - because he complied with Iowa law. Attorney Robert Montgomery says Soules reported the April crash, provided aid and waited until emergency responders arrived. Prosecutors say Soules failed to stay until an officer could speak with him about the incident. The judge says she will rule later on the motion to dismiss. Meanwhile trial in the case is set for Jan. 18.
