 On Sunday, October 8, 2017, at 6:16 am the Crawford County Sheriff Office received a report of a one-vehicle accident in the village of Bell Center on West River Rd about 3/4 mile north of Iris Dr.

A northbound, 2000 Pontiac, owned and operated by Amber Bertrang, age 17 of Gays Mills, went off the east side of the road and came to rest in trees and brush.
Bertrang declined treatment.

The vehicle was towed due to damage.

Bertrang was charged with OWI 1st offense and Operating W/out a DL

 On Friday, October 6, 2017, at approximately 1:10 pm the Crawford County Sheriff's Office was notified of a two-vehicle accident in Scott Township, on USH 61. There were with no injuries and no blockage.

Jean G. Troxel, age 49 of Soldiers Grove, WI was traveling Southbound on USH 61 in a 2004 Buick. The Troxel vehicle was traveling behind a 2013 Subaru being operated by Brenda A. Foust, age 52 of East Dubuque, IL. The Foust vehicle was slowing down for a vehicle making a left turn onto Long Ago Ln. The Troxel vehicle was unable to avoid the Foust vehicle; rear-ending it.

Both drivers claimed no injuries at the scene and both vehicles were able to be driven from the scene.
