Fayette Releases

On 10/5/17 Elizabeth Susan Schmidtke age 30 from Fayette turned herself in to the Fayette County Jail on a Fayette County warrant for fail to appear on a no valid driver’s license charge. Schmidtke posted bond and was released to appear in court at a later date.

 

On 10/5/17 at 4:16 PM the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office took a report of a disturbance in the 900 block of Fairfield St in Arlington. As a result of the incident, Holley Marie Robbins age 31 from Arlington was arrested and charged with Public intoxication and disorderly conduct. Robbins was transported to the Fayette County Jail where she was held pending an appearance with a Magistrate.

 

On October 5, 2017 Fayette County Sheriff’s Deputies were asked to respond twice to Prairie View Residential Care in the 18000 blk of Lane Road, Fayette. First Call was a report of person putting another person in a choke hold  and a request for an assault investigation was made. Next call was at 12:53 pm of a subject out of control smashing television sets. Both incidents are currently under investigation. Both suspects were removed from the facility.    

 

 

After a 2 week long investigation, the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office has arrested 74 year old David Allen Kenyon from Mason City on 2 counts of Delivery of a Controlled Substance, both Class C Felonies.  Information was obtained that Kenyon was delivering controlled substance into Fayette County.  A sting operation was set up with the cooperation of the West Union Police Department, where Kenyon was caught in the act of turning over more drugs.  Kenyon was arrested and transported to the Fayette County Jail where he was released the next day by the courts on a unsecured bond.

 

On 10/6/2017 the Fayette County Sheriff's Office took a report of a one vehicle accident in Clermont west on Hwy 18. Once deputies arrived they found a 2005 Chevy driven by Cutberto Hernandez, age 35 of Esterville. Hernandez lost control on the wet roadway and entered the ditch. He was cited for failure to maintain control and released. Total damage to the vehicle was estimated at 3,000.00
