Regional Meeting

The October 18th gathering, (from 9:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.) in the Wilder Business Center located on
the Northeast Iowa Community College Calmar Campus, is being hosted by Upper Explorerland
Regional Planning Commission, EARL Public Transit, and their regional transportation partners.
The organizers are putting a casual and enthusiastic emphasis on all things go. The day is about:


Recognition & lively discussion of regional transportation needs & coordination
Improvements to transportation to support a higher quality of life in Northeast Iowa
Improvement to regional transportation to make our economy more productive
Lunch and snacks will be provided, and the event will be hosting an impressive roster of relevant regional
speakers, listed below. A free shuttle is available for participants, which will leave from the parking lot behind
McDonalds on Short Street and Highway 9 at 8:30 a.m. the day of the event. Any proceeds from the event
will go to fund a regional transportation-related cause or causes.
