On September 3, 2017 at 7:31pm, Clayton County Deputies conducted a traffic stop on Highway 52 near 260th Street. Deputies made contact with 18 year old Gage Durnan of Garnavillo. Deputies observed signs of impairment and field sobriety testing was completed. Upon further investigation, a Drug Recognition Expert with the Clayton County Sheriff’s Office completed an evaluation on Durnan. As a result of the investigation, Durnan was arrested and charged with operation while under the influence- 1st offense.

 

On September 9, 2017 at 5:36pm, Clayton County Deputies were dispatched to a vehicle in the ditch on Kennedy Road. Deputies made contact with the driver, 24 year old Henry Berns of Garnavillo. Deputies observed signs of impairment and field sobriety tests were completed. Berns was subsequently arrested and transported to the Clayton County Jail where he was charged with Operating while intoxicated-2nd offense, driving while suspended, and failure to maintain control.

 

On September 9, 2017, Clayton County Deputies arrested 54 year old Manual Seenster Jr. of Waterloo and 30 year old Richard Murphy of Postville on a warrant for delivery of a controlled substance. The charges stem from a several week long narcotics investigation. Seenster and Murphy were transported to the Clayton County Jail where they were held on $5,000 bond.

 

On September 11, 2017, Clayton County Deputies arrested 27 year old Kevin Krapfl of Guttenberg on a Clayton County Warrant for Probation Violation. Krapfl is being held without bond.

 

On September 11, 2017, Clayton County Deputies arrested 50 year old Andrew Waterman of Farmersburg on a Clayton County Warrant for Theft-2nd Degree. Waterman was transported to the Clayton County Jail where he posted a cash bond. The charges stem from a theft investigation, where Waterman is accused of stealing a livestock trailer along with other items. This case remains under investigation by the Clayton County Sheriff’s Office.

 

On September 15, 2017 at 6:17pm, Clayton County Deputies were dispatched to the City of Farmersburg for a complaint. Upon further investigation, Deputies came into contact with 52 year old Roger Halverson of Farmersburg. Deputies observed signs of impairment and field sobriety testing was completed. Halverson was subsequently arrested and transported to the Clayton County Jail where he was charged with Operating While Intoxicated- 1st Offense.

 

On September 16, 2017, Clayton County Deputies arrested 56 year old Craig Everman of Postville on a Clayton County Warrant for failure to serve jail sentence. Everman is being held in the Clayton County Jail to serve a 10 day jail sentence.

 

On September 16, 2017 at 6:55pm, Clayton County Deputies conducted a traffic stop on Highway 52 near Clayton Road for a traffic violation. Upon further investigation, Deputies came into contact with 52 year old Kevin Kulper of Guttenberg. Deputies observed signs of impairment and field sobriety testing was completed. Kulper was subsequently arrested and transported to the Clayton County Jail where he was charged with Operating While Intoxicated-1st Offense.

 

On September 19, 2017, Clayton County Deputies arrested 25 year old Jordan Piper of New Hampton on an Allamakee County Warrant for probation violation. Piper was transported to the Clayton County Jail where he was later released to the Allamakee County Sheriff’s Office.

 

On September 21, 2017, Clayton County Deputies arrested 36 year old Lonnie Davis Jr. on a Clayton County Warrant for possession of a firearm while prohibited. Davis was transported to the Clayton County Jail where he is being held on $5,000 bond.
