The Fayette County Sheriff’s office along with the Department of Human Services has completed an investigation in the city of Arlington on a child endangerment case. After the Sheriff’s Office week long investigation they alleged that Kayci Marie Danielle Hahn, age 19 had burned a 6 year old female with a cigarette for punishment, leaving a burn. Hahn who was in custody and control of her boyfriend’s children at the time, allegedly was upset at the child and used the cigarette as punishment. The child was treated at a local hospital for minor injuries. The victim and the other two children were removed from the home by DHS and placed with other family members. A warrant was issued for Hahn and she was arrested and taken to the Fayette County Jail on a $3,000.00 Bond. Hahn posted bond the next day. This investigation remains under investigation and more charges could be filed once its complete.
