On March 15th, 2017 at approximately 5:59 p.m. Fayette County Deputies located and arrested Federico Josue Luna age, 18 of Oelwein on a valid Fayette County arrest warrant for False Application for License/I.D. card. Luna was also charged with Interference with official acts. Luna was transported to the Fayette County Jail and held for initial appearance. Fayette County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Oelwein Police Department.
On March 15th, 2017 at approximately 4:11 p.m. Deputies were called to the area of R Ave. and 150th Street in reference to a two vehicle property damage accident. Upon arrival it was discovered that Johnathan Harriman age, 42 of Hawkeye was stopped at the intersection in his 2008 Ford Econoline Van when he backed up to avoid collision with a semi and struck Shaina Boehmer age, 29 of Waterloo who was driving her 2010 Kia Sedona. No injuries were reported and both vehicles sustained minor damages.
On March 15th, 2017 at approximately 8:14 p.m. Deputies received a driving complaint near the area of Lincoln Road and 210Th Street. Upon arrival deputies made contact with Joshua Jacob Snyder, age 34 who was found to be asleep in a 2003 Black Dodge Dakota. Upon conducting an investigation Snyder was charged with Operating while intoxicated (serious misdemeanor) and Possession of drug paraphernalia (simple misdemeanor). Snyder was transported to the Fayette County Jail where he awaits an initial appearance.
On March 14th, 2017 at approximately 9:09 p.m. Deputies responded to the area of Canoe Road and 245th St. in reference to a truck vs. deer accident. Upon arrival it was discovered that Steven McAllen age, 26 of Elgin was traveling Southbound on Canoe Road when he struck a deer that was traveling across the roadway. No injuries were reported and McAllen’s 2011 Chevy Silverado K250 sustained major damages.
On 3-15-17 at approximately 10:16 PM a Fayette County Deputy took a report of an erratic driver between West Union and Clermont. A Fayette County Deputy stopped the vehicle and identified the driver as Brenda Siegele, 53 of Patch Grove, WI. Upon investigation she was arrested and charged with Operating While Intoxicated 1st Offense, Open Container, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of a Controlled Substance (marijuana),and Failure to obey a Traffic control device. Upon arrival of the Fayette County jail, it was discovered Siegele had a controlled substance on her person. In addition to the above charges, Siegele was charged with Possession of Contraband in a Correctional Facility. She is being held at the Fayette County Jail awaiting an initial appearance.
