On November 13, 2019, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office charged Shad A. McAllen, of Arlington, IA, with Possession of Controlled Substance-Meth and Possession of Contraband in Correctional Institution. The charges came after the Sheriff's Office assisted the Manchester Police Department in transporting an arrestee to the county jail. In doing so, the defendant was asked if he had anything on his person and he stated no. While at the jail it was determined the defendant did have drugs in his possession.

On November 10, 2019, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a 911 hangup call from a residence in Edgewood, IA. Upon arriving at the residence and after an investigation, Joseph Kann, of Edgewood, IA, was charged with Domestic Abuse Assault.

On November 10, 2019, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office conducted a traffic stop on Hwy 3 outside of Edgewood, IA.
Sawyer Amling, of Strawberry Point, IA, was charged with Operating While Under the Influence 1st Offense. He was also cited with Driving on Wrong Side of Two Way Highway.

On November 8, 2019, the Manchester Police Department served a warrant on Cameron Droste, of Waterloo, IA. The Delaware County Sheriff's Office charged Droste with a Violation of the Sex Offender Registry for failure to register his move to another county.

On November 7, 2019, at approximately 7:45 p.m., the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a vehicle-deer accident on Hwy 20. Joseph Fritts, of Dayton, IA, was traveling eastbound on Hwy 20 and struck a deer that had entered the roadway.

On November 7, 2019, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office served a warrant on Ian T. Stevenson, of Goldfield, IA for a probation violation.

On November 7, 2019, at approximately 3:08 a.m., the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a single-vehicle accident on 330th Avenue. Rozann Bond, of Colesburg, IA, was traveling northbound on 330th Avenue and lost control due to ice and snow on the roadway causing her vehicle to enter the ditch.

On November 6, 2019, at approximately 5:19 p.m., the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a vehicle-deer accident on Hwy 20. Nichole Ludley, of Anamosa, IA, was traveling eastbound on Hwy 20 and struck a deer that had entered the roadway.

On November 6, 2019, at approximately 6:35 a.m., the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a vehicle-deer accident on 110th Avenue south of 255th Street. Rebecca Moreno, of Masonville, IA, was traveling south on 110th when a deer entered the roadway and she was unable to avoid striking the deer.

On November 4, 2019, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office conducted a traffic stop on 210th Street near Delaware, IA. Gunner Domeyer, of Manchester, IA, was charged with Driving While Barred.

On November 4, 2019, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office conducted a traffic stop on Main Street in Ryan, IA. Troy Dunn, of Coggon, IA, was charged with Driving While Barred.

On November 4, 2019, at approximately 5:10 a.m., the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a vehicle-deer accident on Hwy 3 west of 330th Avenue. Bryan Cox, of Dubuque, IA, was traveling west of Hwy 3 when a deer ran onto the roadway and he was unable to avoid striking the deer.

On November 3, 2019, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office served a warrant on Keisha Robinson, of Greeley, IA for failure to appear.

On November 1, 2019, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office served a warrant on Clarence Widner, of Jesup, IA for a probation violation.

On October 30, 2019, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office served a warrant on Seth Chapman, of Dundee, IA for probation violations.

On October 31, 2019, at approximately 6:07 a.m., the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a two-vehicle accident on Hwy 20 near Manchester, IA. Glen Hahn, of Dyersville, IA was operating a semi/trailer on Hwy 20 near D5X exit and noticed a vehicle driven by Blake O'Connell, of Manchester, IA, driving down the on ramp. Hahn proceeded to merge into the left lane of Hwy 20, however, due to the road conditions, O'Connell began to lose control and his vehicle struck the rear of Hahn's trailer. After striking the trailer, O'Connell's vehicle slid into the median.

On October 28, 2019, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office charged Lucas Hermsen, of New Vienna, Iowa with Arson 3rd Degree. Hermsen turned himself in to the Delaware County Jail on October 29, 2019. The charge stems from a cornfield fire which occurred on October 25, 2019.

On October 25, 2019, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office served a warrant on Kevin Saathoff, of Ryan, Iowa for a failing to appear at a civil hearing.

On October 24, 2019, at approximately 6:09 p.m., the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a two-vehicle accident on Hwy 38 near Hopkinton, IA. Thomas Welter, of Hopkinton, IA was operating a tractor pulling a wagon on Hwy 38 and was slowing to make a turn into a private drive. Sonya Etzel, of Monticello, IA, was traveling behind Welter and did not realize he was slowing to turn and rear-ended Welter's wagon causing her vehicle to roll and come to rest on its side. Etzel was cited with following to closely.

On October 23, 2019, at approximately 6:45 a.m., the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a vehicle-deer accident on 210th Street. Linda Fangmann, of Earlville, IA, was traveling west of 210th Street when a deer ran onto the roadway and she was unable to avoid striking the deer.
