On July 19th, 2019 at approximately 7:54 PM the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a single vehicle rollover accident near the area of Harding Road and Diamond Road. Upon conducting an investigation, it was discovered that Michael G. Foltz age, 64 of Postville was traveling westbound on Harding Road when he lost control of the 2000 Ford Ranger he was driving. Foltz’s vehicle traveled into the south ditch and rolled onto its top. Foltz was subsequently charged with Operating While Intoxicated 2nd Offense (aggravated misdemeanor) and Failure to Maintain Control (simple misdemeanor). Foltz was transported to the Fayette County Jail and held on a $2000 cash or surety bond. Minor injuries were reported and the 2000 Ford Ranger was deemed a total loss.

 

On July 20th, 2019 at approximately 7:46 PM Fayette County Sheriff’s Deputy initiated a traffic stop near the intersection of Union Street and Mill Street in Clermont.  Upon conducting an investigation Richard A. Hanson, age 49 of Elgin was charged with Operating While Intoxicated 2nd Offense (aggravated misdemeanor), operating non-registered vehicle (simple misdemeanor), and fail to obey stop sign and yield right of way (simple misdemeanor). Hanson was transported to the Fayette County Jail where he was held pending initial appearance with the magistrate.

 

On 7-19-19 at approximately 11:45 PM a Fayette County Deputy stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation. Upon investigation Gustavo Soto 22 of Hawkeye was arrested and charged with Operating While Intoxicated 1st Offense.  He is being held at the Fayette County Jail awaiting an initial appearance.

 

On July 19th, 2019 at approximately 5:45 PM the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office took Robert Arlin White II, age 36 years old into custody on a valid Fayette County Warrant for Parole Violation. White was held in the Fayette County Jail on a no bond hold. Fayette County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Sumner Police Department.

 

On July 19th, 2019 at approximately 3:30 PM the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office arrested Ryan W. Eickhoff age, 31 of Oelwein on a valid Black Hawk County Warrant for theft in the fourth degree. Eickhoff was transported to the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office and held pending transfer to Black Hawk County.
