On July 16, 2019, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office served a warrant on Rhonda Marty, of Hopkinton, IA, for Theft 5th Degree. The charge stems from a theft reported to the Sheriff's Office by the City of Hopkinton on June 30, 2019.

On July 16, 2019, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office served a warrant on Dane Heiar, of Coggon, IA, for Trespass and Criminal Mischief 4th Degree. The charges stem from an theft incident reported to the Sheriff's Office on July 14, 2019 at a residence on 120th Avenue near Ryan, IA.

On July 14, 2019, at approximately 11:00 p.m., the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a vehicle-deer accident on Highway 13. Hope E. Mahoney, of Monticello, IA, was traveling on Highway 13 when a deer entered the roadway and she was unable to avoid striking the deer.

On July 13, 2019, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office was on patrol at the Delaware County Fairgrounds when a female approached a deputy and informed him she had been assaulted. After an investigation, Joel L. Gilliam, of Epworth, IA, was charged with Domestic Abuse Assault - 1st Offense and Interference with Official Acts.

On July 13, 2019, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office while patrolling at the Delaware County Fair, charged Paige L. McCoy, of Monticello, IA, with Public Intoxication.

On July 13, 2019, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office conducted a traffic stop at S. 8th Street and W. Marion Street, in Manchester, IA. Joshua J. Burgin, of Greeley, IA, was charged with Driving While License Denied, Susp, Cancelled, or Revoked. He was also cited with Operating Non-Registered Vehicle.

On July 13, 2019, at approximately 10:25 a.m., the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a vehicle-deer accident on Highway 13 south of Manchester, IA. The driver, Gina Stewart, of Central City, IA was traveling northbound when a deer entered the roadway and the driver was unable to avoid striking the deer.

On July 12, 2019, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office served a warrant on Mathew M. Robinson, of Earlville, IA, for a probation violation.

On July 12, 2019, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office served a warrant on Gerald R. Anderson, of Vinton, IA, for Violation of No Contact/Protective Order. The charge stems from an incident occurring in Masonville, IA, reported on July 7, 2019 by the protected party.

On July 12, 2019, at approximately 6:10 a.m., the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a semi in the ditch on Highway 38 near Greeley, IA. Sean Chopard, of Edgewood, IA, was traveling southbound when he dropped his right front tire off the edge of the road which caused him to be pulled into the west ditch.

On July 11, 2019, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office served a warrant on Rowdy Cuffe, of Manchester, IA, for a Sex Offender Violation. The charge stems from an incident which occurred on July 10, 2019 in which Cuffe was operating a vehicle he had not registered.

On July 11, 2019, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office served a warrant on Lucien Losee, of Luverne, IA, for a probation violation and failure to appear.

On July 11, 2019, at approximately 12:00 p.m., the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a vehicle-deer accident on Highway 3. Marvin Heims, of Strawberry Point, IA, was eastbound when a deer entered the roadway and Heims was unable to avoid striking the deer.

On July 11, 2019, at approximately 5:09 am.m., the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a vehicle-deer accident on 200th Avenue. The driver, Susan Guyer, of Garnavillo, IA, was south on 200th Avenue when a deer entered the roadway and she was unable to avoid striking the deer.

On July 9, 2019, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office served a warrant on Laura Johnson, of Olin, IA, for failure to appear.

On July 7, 2019, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a domestic dispute at Big G's Campground near Delhi, IA. After an investigation, Cory Stonebraker, of Manchester, IA, was charged with Domestic Abuse Assault.

On July 5, 2019, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office conducted a traffic stop on Hwy 20 near 245th Avenue east of Earlville, IA. Rocael Garcia Hernandez, of Manchester, IA was charged with Operating While Under the Influence 1st Offense. He was also cited with Driving on Wrong Side of Two Way Highway.

On July 4, 2019, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to numerous calls of suspicious activity in Dundee, IA. Casey Culp, of Chalfont, PA, was charged with Attempted Burglary 1st Degree, Carrying Weapons, Consumption of Alcohol in Public Place 1st Offense, and Dominion/Control of Firearm/Offensive Weapon by Felon.

On July 4, 2019, at approximately 9:43 p.m. the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a vehicle-deer accident on Highway 20 near X47. The driver, Leta Hageman, of Calmar, IA, was traveling westbound when a deer entered the roadway and Hageman was unable to avoid striking the deer.

On July 4, 2019, at approximately 6:38 p.m., the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a two-vehicle accident on Jefferson Road, near Manchester, IA. Keisha Robinson, of Manchester, IA and a vehicle behind Robinson's vehicle driven by Maggie Tischhauser, of Dubuque, IA, were both traveling northbound on Jefferson Road near the Hwy 20 on/off ramp when Robinson attempted to make a U-turn at the intersection and was rear-ended by Tischhauser's vehicle. Robinson was cited with Turning at Intersection Violation and Tischhauser was charged with Operating While Under the Influence 1st Offense.

On July 4, 2019, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office served a warrant on Rachel Montes, of Manchester, IA, for a probation violation.

On July 2, 2019, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a trespass call at a residence on Hwy 13 near Manchester, IA. Laura Farrell, of Strawberry Point, IA, was charged with Trespass 1st Offense.

On July 1, 2019, at approximately 9:05 a.m., the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a two-vehicle accident on 210th Street. The driver, Michael Roling, of Earlville, IA was slowing to turn into a private drive when a vehicle behind him driven by David Zirtzman, of Earlville, IA, struck the rear of Roling's vehicle. Zirtzman was cited with Following Too Closely.

On June 30, 2019, at approximately 11:00 a.m., the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to an automobile accident on North Front Street and Beckner Street in Greeley, IA. The driver, Zoe Long, of East Dubuque, IL, was traveling southbound and was traveling through a set of curves on the north side of Greeley. Long was traveling too fast as she took the last curve and lost control of her vehicle. Long was cited with Failure to Maintain Control.

On June 29, 2019, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office conducted a traffic stop on 210th Street and 300th Avenue near Earlville, IA. Sage Domeyer, of Delhi, IA was charged with Operating While Under the Influence 1st Offense. He was also cited for Speeding.

On June 28, 2019, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a disturbance at the Regional Medical Center in Manchester, IA. Joseph S. Heath, of Masonville, IA, was charged with Public Intoxication and Disorderly Conduct - Loud or Raucous Noise.

On June 26, 2019, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to an animal complaint in Edgewood, IA. After an investigation, Brittany G. Reid, of Edgewood, IA, was charged with three counts of Animal Neglect and a warrant was issued. The Clayton County Sheriff's Office served the warrant on Reid on July 8, 2019.

On June 24, 2019, at approximately 5:36 A.m., the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a vehicle-deer accident on Highway 38 near Greeley, IA. The driver, Thomas Norberg, of Strawberry Point, IA, was traveling southound on Highway 38 when a deer entered the roadway and Norberg was unable to avoid striking the deer.
