On June 4, 2019, at approximately 1:50 p.m., the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a vehicle-deer accident on 140th Avenue. The driver, Arthur Ladeburg, of Prairie Du Chien, WI, was traveling southbound on 140th Avenue and struck a deer that had entered the roadway.

On June 4, 2019, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office was conducting a Sex Offender Registry check following a reported violation of the registry. Parker Shakespeare, of Hopkinton, IA, was charged for Violation of the Sex Offender Registry.

On June 3, 2019, at approximately 9:15 p.m., the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a vehicle-deer accident on Highway 20 near mile marker 285. The driver, Brian Milbert, of Dyersville, IA, was traveling eastbound on Hwy 20 when a deer ran into the roadway and Milbert was unable to avoid striking the animal.

On June 3, 2019, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office served a warrant on Joshua Keeler, of Wayland, IA, for Theft 1st Degree - Bad Check. The charge stems from an incident which occurred in September of 2017, wherein Keeler paid for equipment with a bad check.

On June 2, 2019, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a no contact order violation call. Upon arriving at residence, it was determined that Dale Abbey, of Manchester, IA, was in violation of a protective order and charged. He was arrested and brought to the Delaware County Jail.

On June 2, 2019, at approximately 6:25 a.m., the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a vehicle-deer accident on Highway 20. The driver, Michael Briggs, of Manchester, IA, was traveling east bound on Hwy 20 when he struck a deer that had entered the roadway.

On May 29, 2019, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office served a warrant on Jacob Blauer, of Cedar Rapids, IA, for a probation violation.

On May 24, 2019, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office served a warrant on Clarence Widner of Jesup, IA, for Sex Offender Registry Violation. The charge stems from an incident reported earlier in the month to the Sheriff's Office.

On May 31, 2019, at approximately 2:12 p.m., the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of 267th Street and 197th Avenue. The driver, William Brause, of Cedar Rapids, IA, was stopped on 267th Street. Brause began to drive forward from stop sign and collided with a vehicle on 197th Avenue that he did not see driven by Randy Mahoney, of Dyersville, IA. Brause was cited with Fail to Yield Upon Entering Through Highway.
