On March 31, 2019, at approximately 7:44 a.m. the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a truck in the ditch on 325th Street with no driver/passengers around. Upon contacting the owner, Jason Stepanek, of Ryan, IA, claimed he was traveling westbound on 325th Street when he swerved to miss a deer in the roadway. Stepanek's vehicle entered the ditch and rolled onto the driver's side. He exited the vehicle and got a ride home.

On March 31, 2019, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office served a warrant on David Kenyon, of Mason City, IA for Trespass 1st Offense. The charge stems from a report by the Penn Center in Delhi, IA of a male delivering prohibited items to the facility after he was advised to stay away from the facility.

On March 30, 2019, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office served a warrant on Laura Heims, of Edgewood, IA, for Fraudulent Practice. The warrant was requested by an investigator for Iowa Workforce Development.

On March 30, 2019, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office conducted a traffic stop in Manchester, IA. Jeremy J. Thibadeau, of Manchester, IA, was cited with Driving While License Denied, Suspended, Cancelled or Revoked; Driving While License Under Suspension; and Failure to Provide Proof of Financial Liability.

On March 26, 2019, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office served warrants on David Steil, of Colesburg, IA for Failure to Appear and Probation Violation.

On March 26, 2019, at approximately 1:23 a.m. the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a single-vehicle accident on Highway 20. The driver, Mark G. Gilbert, of Munchen, Germany was traveling westbound on Highway 20 when a raccoon entered the roadway and Gilbert's vehicle struck the animal causing front end damage, including damage to the radiator.

On March 24, 2019, at approximately 9:31 p.m. the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a single-vehicle accident on 230th Street near Hopkinton, IA. Kathleen K. Kirby, of Anamosa, IA. It is reported that Kirby started from a stop and quickly accelerated and lost control of the vehicle causing it to strike a bridge and roll landing on the passenger side. Kirby was cited with Failure to Maintain Control and Driving on Wrong Side of a Two Way Road.

On March 24, 2019, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office conducted a traffic stop on Highway 20 by Manchester, IA. Denise K. Tjelmeland, of Brandon, IA, was charged with Operating While Under the Influence 2nd Offense. She was also cited with Use Electronic Communication Device.

On March 23, 2019, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a vehicle in the ditch on 180th Avenue outside of Manchester, IA.
Sevontae S. Raines, of San Diego, CA, was charged with Operating While Under the Influence 1st Offense. He was also cited for Failure to Maintain Control.

On March 22, 2019, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office served a warrant on Stanley Rogers Jr, of Manchester, IA, for a probation violation.

On March 21, 2019, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office received a call regarding a juvenile complaint at a residence in Edgewood, IA. Upon arriving at the scene, the juvenile had started a fire within the residence. The juvenile was charged with Arson 1st Degree.

On March 21, 2019, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office received a call regarding a theft at a convenience store in Earlville, IA. Jonathan W. Blalock was charged with Theft 5th Degree.

On March 21, 2019, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office received a call regarding a violation of a protective order. Upon investigation, Jordan M. Hansel, of Edgewood, IA, was charged with Violation of Contact/Protective Order.
