Fraudulent Charge

An Edgewood woman has been charged with fraudulent practices in the second-degree.  The Telegraph Herald reports that 29-year old Laura Heims is charged with fradulently collecting more than 84-hundred in unemployment benefits.  Heims was employed by the Dollar General Corporation and involved claims between March 18th and August 25th of last year.  An Iowa Workforce Development investigator looking into unemployment claims filed by Heims discovered that her wages did not match what the company reported.  A court appearance is set for April 12th.
