Federal Charges

A 4 month narcotics investigation conducted by the Manchester Police Department resulted in the Federal Indictment of a subject. With the assistance of a cooperating individual the Manchester Police Department made two controlled purchases of cocaine from a subject in Manchester. This investigation also resulted in a search warrant being served at 1505 North Franklin Street Apt 3, on October 22, 2018. A second search warrant was served at the same address December 23, 2018. The evidence gathered from these search warrants led to the arrest of two individuals.

 

Arrested December 23, 2018:

Antonio Robertson (age 43) of Manchester, Iowa

 

Charges: 

Possession of a Controlled Substance/Intent to Deliver (Cocaine), a Class C Felony

 

Arrested December 23, 2018:

Brian Johnson (age 52) of Manchester, Iowa

 

Charges: 

Possession of a Controlled Substance/Intent to Deliver (Cocaine), a Class C Felony

 

The results of the investigation and evidence gathered at the search warrants prompted the Manchester Police Department to contact the Federal Prosecutor in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The case was taken under advisement and resulted in an indictment on Federal Narcotics violations.

2 counts of Distribution of Cocaine
