On March 1, 2019, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office served a warrant on Travis V. Bond, of Strawberry Point, IA, for failure to appear.

On February 28, 2019, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office served a warrant on David J. Demoss, of Monmouth, IA, for failure to appear.

On February 28, 2019, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office, assisted by the Division of Criminal Investigation, served a warrant on Todd M. Mullis, of Earlville, IA, for Murder 1st Degree. The charge stems from a death investigation involving his spouse, Amy L. Mullis.

On February 24, 2019, at approximately 3:52 p.m. the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a two-vehicle accident on 110th Avenue near Masonville, IA. Kyle A. James, of Wauconda, IL, was stuck in a snowdrift in the southbound lane of 110th Avenue when Christopher Krapfl, of Manchester, IA, who was also traveling southbound on 110th Avenue struck the rear of James' vehicle due to low visibility.

On February 24, 2019, at approximately 10:17 a.m. the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a two-vehicle accident on 145th Avenue. William J. Brunsmann, of Dundee, IA, was standing in the roadway behind his vehicle which had gotten stuck in a snowdrift due to severe weather conditions. James B. Schnittjer, of Delhi, IA, was southbound on 145th Avenue and ran into the rear of Brunsmann's vehicle pinning

On February 23, 2019, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office served a warrant on Ethan Christianson, of Garnavillo, IA, for a probation violation.

On February 22, 2019, at approximately 1:00 p.m., the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a single-vehicle accident on Highway 13. Jon M. Dunn, of Ryan, IA, was northbound on Hwy 13 towing a flatbed trailer. The trailer ball hitch was improperly connected and the trailer separated from the truck causing the driver to lose control. The vehicle entered the east ditch.

On February 22, 2019, at approximately 11:45 a.m., the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a two-vehicle accident on Highway 20. A semi driven by Mark Kovach, of Sioux City, IA, was parked along the side of the road having maintenance work done when a vehicle driven by James D. Taylor, of Walker, IA, drove onto the shoulder and ran into the side of the parked semi.

On February 19, 2019, at approximately 8:52 a.m., the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a two-vehicle accident on Highway 20. Kathy A. Kuecker, of Denver, IA, was traveling east on Hwy 20 in the right lane approaching 260th Avenue when a vehicle driven by Eileen M. Puetz, of Earlville, IA, was driving west and slowing down to turn south onto 260th Avenue pulled out onto the eastbound lanes into the path.
On February 15, 2019, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office served a warrant on Skyler Richey, of Dubuque, IA, for a probation violation.

On February 15, 2019, at approximately 12:20 p.m., the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a two-vehicle accident on Highway 3. Jason N. Wessel, of Greeley, IA, was traveling east on Hwy 3 and was attempting to turn left into a private drive when a vehicle driven by Jodi McCabe, of Colesburg, IA, was traveling too close and struck Wessel's vehicle pushing it into the yard. McCabe was cited with Following Too Close.

On February 13, 2019, at approximately 6:19 a.m., the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a multi-vehicle accident on a county road in Delaware County. Wendy Hellmann, of Manchester, IA, was the owner of a vehicle that was stuck in a snow drift and was waiting to be pulled out by a vehicle parked along side the road and occupied by Adam Kann, of Ryan, IA. Josiah Lydon, of Cedar Rapids, IA, lost control on the ice and slid into Kann's vehicle and also struck Hellmann's vehicle. Lydon was cited with Failure to Maintain Control.

On February 12, 2019, at approximately 11:13 p.m., the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a single-vehicle accident on Highway 13. Emeri Harerimana, of Cedar Rapids, IA was traveling southbound on Highway 13 when she lost control due to road and weather conditions and left roadway and came to rest in the ditch on the driver's side of the vehicle.

On February 12, 2019, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a vehicle in the ditch. Richard L. Ryan, of Winthrop, IA, was charged with Operating While Under the Influence 2nd Offense. He was also cited with No Valid Drivers License.

On February 12, 2019, at approximately 6:24 p.m., the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a two-vehicle accident on Highway 20 near Manchester, IA. Courtney M. Scherbring, of Dyersville, IA, and Jazman L. Blocker, of Memphis, TN were traveling eastbound on Highway 20 when Blocker, driving a semi with trailer, attempted to pass Scherbring and lost control causing the trailer to swing around and strike Scherbring's vehicle pushing it off the roadway into the south ditch. Blocker's semi came to rest in the median on the passenger side of the vehicle. The contents of the trailer were spilled into the median and onto westbound lanes of traffic.

On February 11, 2019, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a vehicle in the ditch on Highway 20 near Earlville, IA.
Naome A. Wells, of Manchester, IA, was charged with Providing False Identification Information, and Driving While License Denied,Suspended,Cancelled or Revoked. She was also cited for Operating a Non-Registered Vehicle.

On February 9, 2019, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a 911 call of a single-vehicle accident on 270th Avenue near Earlville, IA. Michelle L. Hamer, of Evansdale, IA, was charged with Operating While Under the Influence 1st Offense.

On February 8, 2019, at approximately 3:06 a.m., the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a single-vehicle accident on Highway Jet Road outside of Greeley, IA. Tristin I. Kelly, of Manchester, IA, was westbound on Jet Road when the back end of his vehicle started to spin out of control. The driver veered off the roadway to the left and ended with the vehicle resting in the south ditch on the passenger side.

On February 7, 2019, at approximately 9:04 a.m., the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a single-vehicle accident on Highway 20. Madeline D. Ellert-Beck, of Dubuque, IA, was traveling on Highway 20 and attempted switching lanes when she lost control due to icy road conditions. Ellert-Beck's vehicle entered the north ditch where it rolled onto the driver's side.

On February 6, 2019, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office served a warrant on Kara G. Hutchinson, of Waterloo, IA, for a probation violation.

On February 4, 2019, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to an assault call at a residence in Ryan, IA. Upon investigation, Johnathan C. Thomas, of Ryan, IA, was charged with Domestic Abuse Assault - 1st Offense.

On February 3, 2019, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office conducted a traffic stop near an address on Franklin Street in Delhi, IA. Carrie R. Haas, of Delhi, IA, was charged with Driving While License Denied,Suspended,Cancelled or Revoked and Unlawful Possession of Prescription Drug. A passenger in the vehicle, Zachariah M. Ridgeway, of Delhi, IA, was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine and Unlawful Possession of Prescription Drug.

On February 1, 2019, at approximately 4:05 p.m., the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a two-vehicle accident on West Union Street in Edgewood, IA. Nathan R. Bailey, of Colesburg, IA, was westbound on West Union Street when he stopped due to other traffic stopped in front of him. Kearstin A. Hansel, of Edgewood, IA struck the rear end of Bailey's vehicle. Hansel was cited for Following Too Closely.

On January 30, 2019, at approximately 9:56 a.m., the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a two-vehicle accident in Manchester, IA. Gregory K. Bahls, of Manchester, IA was operating a city maintenance vehicle northbound on North Franklin Street with Tyler C. Payne, of Strawberry Point, IA, in a vehicle traveling behind Bahls. Bahls was turning right onto Clara Avenue but Payne thought he was turning left and continued straight striking the maintenance vehicle driven by Bahls.

On January 29, 2019, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office served a warrant on Zachary J. Brehme, of Lamont, IA, for a probation violation.

On January 27, 2019, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office conducted a traffic stop on Hwy 38 near Greeley, IA. Jason D. Lowdermilk, of Earlville, IA, was charged with Operating While Under the Influence 1st Offense. He was also cited with Speeding, No Valid Drivers License, and Open Container - Driver 21 Yrs Old and Older.

On January 17, 2019, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office charged Jonathan Davis, of Manchester, IA, with Violation of No Contact/Protective Order. The charge stems from an incident occurring on January 16 wherein Davis contacted the protected party by phone.

On January 26, 2019, at approximately 11:31 a.m., the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a two-vehicle accident in Hopkinton, IA. Brent Hussmann, of Hopkinton, IA, was operating a full-sized Case end loader and attempted to make a right turn onto Willow Road and struck the front end of a vehicle driven by Timothy Walker, of Monticello, IA, as he was traveling on Willow Road.

On January 25, 2019, at approximately 2:45 p.m., the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a two-vehicle accident on 210th Street. Vincent N. Mummau of Strawberry Point, IA, was traveling eastbound on 210th Street in a semi with Mitchell R. Manternach, of Dyersville, IA, in a truck following behind Mummau. Mummau proceeded into the westbound lane to make a right turn on to 260th Ave. Manternach having seen Mummau enter the westbound lane attempted to pass Mummau as he was turning right and the vehicles collided.

On January 25, 2019, at approximately 6:30 a.m., the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a single-vehicle accident on 210th Street. Demitrius D. Hardiman, of Cedar Rapids, IA, was traveling westbound on 210th Street as the road curved to the south, he exited on the road to go to 145th Avenue. The driver was traveling to fast and lost control and hit the north snow bank and the vehicle rolled stopping on the wheels. The driver left the scene. Hardiman was cited for Failure to Maintain Control and No Insurance - Accident.

On January 24, 2019, at approximately 10:03 a.m., the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a single-vehicle accident on Highway 20. Stacy H. Mittelstaedt, of Weyauwega, WI was eastbound on Highwy 20 when she lost control on a patch of snow covered roadway and entered the south ditch.

On January 17, 2019, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office served a warrant on Dana Leone Keil, of Delhi, IA for Theft 2nd Degree. The charge stems from an incident in Delhi, IA, which was reported to the Delaware County Sheriff's Office on October 19, 2018.
