Crawford Accident

 On Thursday, February 28, 2019, at approximately 7:17 AM the Crawford County Sheriff’s Department was notified of a two-vehicle accident on State Hwy 131 at the intersection of County Rd S in Haney Township with road blockage and no injuries.

Orlan J. Wallin (JR), age 70 of Blue River, WI was pulling out from the stop sign at the intersection of County Rd S and State Hwy 131 headed Westbound in a 1996 Mazda truck. The Wallin vehicle was struck by a Northbound vehicle operated by Josh P. Wilson, age 34 of Wauzeka, WI operating a 2007 Chevy Silverado truck. The Wilson vehicle continued off the left side of the roadway, struck a county Hwy sign and came to rest. The Wallin vehicle spun around in the roadway from the impact and came to rest facing Eastbound on the roadway.

Mr. Wallin and Mr. Wilson both claimed no injuries from the accident.

Mr. Wallin was issued a citation for failure to yield right of way from a stop sign.
Mr. Wilson was issued a citation for no proof of insurance in the vehicle.

Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
