One Vehicle Crash
On February 7, 2019 at approximately 8:04 am the Grant County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a one vehicle crash on Hwy 151 near Eagle Point Rd located in the Township of Jamestown. Joshua Harris, age 27 from rural Cuba City, was traveling northbound in his 1999 Ford F250 when he lost control on the icy roadway when into the ditch on the west side of the roadway and rolled onto the passenger side.  Harris was not injured in the crash. The vehicle was removed by Donnies Tire and Tow of Dickeyville. The vehicle sustained front end and passenger side damages.

One Vehicle Crash
On February 7, 2019 at approximately 8:10 am the Grant County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a one vehicle crash on Hwy 80/81 near Center Drive Rd located in the Township of Platteville. Katherine Rollette, age 24 from Whitewater, was traveling northbound in her 2000 Chevrolet Suburban when she lost control on the icy roadway. Rollette's vehicle went into the ditch on the west side of the roadway and struck a large snowbank causing front end damages to the vehicle. Rollette and her passenger were not injured in the crash. The vehicle was removed from the scene by Donnies Tire and Tow of Dickeyville.

On February 8th at approximately 2:00 A.M., Trevor Ferguson, age 26 of Bloomington, was driving his 2009 Hyundai, south on Hwy 35 in Patch Grove Township. Mr. Ferguson was negotiating a curve and lost control and drove across both lanes of Hwy 35, before coming to rest in the opposite ditch. At 5:00 A.M., the Grant County Sheriff's Office received a report of a vehicle in the ditch on Hwy 35, near Kansas Rd.  Upon the deputy's arrival, he noted there were open alcohol containers present in the passenger compartment of the vehicle and Mr. Ferguson failed to notify law enforcement that he had gone into the ditch. The Sheriff Office was able to make contact with Mr. Ferguson later that morning. Mr. Ferguson informed the deputy he lost control of his vehicle on the slick road and didn't notify law enforcement. Mr. Ferguson was cited for Open Intoxicants, Driving too Fast for Conditions, Operating left of Center, and Fail to Notify DMV of address change. The vehicle was removed from the scene by B&M's towing.
