On Thursday, January 31, 2019, at approximately 6:36 P.M., the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a one-vehicle traffic crash on STH 179 approximately 1-mile East of Rogers Ln in the Township of Eastman.

Murielle L. Grover, age 17, of Seneca, WI was operating a 2001 Oldsmobile Alero Eastbound on STH 179. Grover lost control of the vehicle while she was traveling downhill around a corner. The vehicle left the right side of the roadway while sliding sideways. The vehicle went off the roadway and down an embankment. When the car went off the embankment it rolled over a couple of times and came to rest on the passenger side.

Grover was cited for Too Fast For Conditions. Grover was uninjured in the crash. The vehicle sustained moderate damage. Assisting on scene was Eastman Fire Dept, Eastman First Responders and Milo’s Towing.

 On Wednesday, January 30, 2019, at 5:38 am the Crawford County Sheriff Office received a report of a rollover accident in Freeman township, on County Rd B near Dog Hollow Rd.

An eastbound 2016 Toyota owned by Grace Kaminski of Chicago IL, and operated by 39-year-old Lester Kaminski of Ferryville hit a snowdrift and was sucked into the ditch. The vehicle came to rest on its driver's side.

Kaminski claimed no injuries.
The vehicle was removed by Sleepy Hollow Tow.
