Dubuque PD pursuit results in arrest
On Sunday, January 27th at approximately 7:17 p.m., the Dubuque Police Department notified the Grant County Sheriff's Office of a pursuit headed north bound on USH 151 from the City of Dubuque and were requesting assistance. A Grant County Deputy was waiting at exit 1. The suspect vehicle turned onto the Badger Road exit and then turned north onto Badger Rd. where a passenger, later identified as Logan E. Egge (29) of Westby got out of the vehicle. A Dubuque officer took Egge into custody and remained at that location. The suspect vehicle continued north on Badger and then turned back onto USH 151 southbound. A Dubuque Squad remained in pursuit of the vehicle with a Grant County squad assisting. The vehicle turned north on Kerper Blvd. where another Dubuque officer was able to utilize stop sticks. The vehicle struck the stop sticks and kept traveling on the side streets of Dubuque at speeds around 25 mph. It stopped at near Windsor Ave where the driver ran from the vehicle. Grant County K9 Riggs was utilized to track the subject to a residence. After a few minutes, a male subject opened the door and stated to "keep the dog away and he will come out." The driver, Jacob Lee Marcov (26) of Dubuque was taken into custody on multiple charges. The incident remains under investigation.
