On November 14, 2018, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office served a warrant on Nicky Sickles, of Ryan, IA, for a Sex Offender Violation. The charge stems from an incident which occurred October 28, 2018.

On November 13, 2018, at approximately 6:35 a.m., the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a vehicle-deer accident on Hwy 38. Debra S. Vorwald, of Delhi, IA, was traveling southbound when a deer entered the roadway and she was unable to avoid striking the animal.

On November 12, 2018, at approximately 8:10 p.m., the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a single-vehicle accident on Firefly Road. Waylon G. Burgin, of Lamont, IA, was traveling southbound when he swerved to miss a deer and was unable to negotiate the curve in the road. He lost control and went into the ditch. He was cited with Failure to Maintain Control.

On November 12, 2018, at approximately 6:39 p.m., the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a vehicle-deer accident on Hwy 3. Janita A. Doeppke, of Elkader, IA, was traveling westbound when a deer entered the roadway and she was unable to avoid striking the animal.

On November 12, 2018, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a two-vehicle accident at 210th Street and Hwy 38, Delaware, IA. Delores M. Phillips, of Cedar Rapids, IA struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Linda Pape, of Dyersville, IA, as Pape was stopped at the stop sign on 210th Street.
Phillips was charged with Operating While Under the Influence 1st Offense and also cited with Open Container and Following too Close.

On November 12, 2018, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office received a theft call from Karls Grocery in Edgewood, IA.
Upon investigation, Lacey Smith, of Strawberry Point, IA, was charged with Theft 4th Degree for taking items from the store during her time of employment.

On November 11, 2018, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a burglary call on SW Marion Street in Hopkinton, IA. Upon arrival, suspect had left the residence in a vehicle striking another vehicle and tree. After investigation, Cody Hoffmann, of Earlville, IA, was issued citations for Striking Unattended Vehicle and Reckless Driving.

On November 9, 2018, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office took a call of illegal dumping at a residence outside of Manchester, IA. After an investigation, Phillip A. Schaffer, of Manchester, IA, was charged with Littering and received a summons to appear at a later date.

On November 8, 2018, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a suspicious activity call. After investigation, Vincent N. Strauser, of Delhi, IA, was charged with Driving While License Denied or Revoked.

On November 8, 2018, at approximately 6:08 a.m. the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a two-vehicle accident on Southside Road in Earlville, IA. Kevin Lasche, of Earlville, IA, was backing out of his driveway and failed to see a vehicle driven by Eric Cooper, of Earlville, IA, heading eastbound on Southside Rd.
Lasche was cited with unsafe backing on highway.

On November 7, 2018, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office served a warrant on Heather Sullivan, of Masonville, IA, for a Probation Violation.

On November 6, 2018, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office served a warrant on David Kenyon, of Mason City, IA, for a PNEN-Controlld Substance - 2nd/Subsequent. The charge stems from an incident which occurred on October 11, 2018 at the Penn Center in Delhi, IA.

On November 6, 2018, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office served a warrant on Ray Kreutner, of Hopkinton, IA, for a Probation Violation.

On November 5, 2018, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office initiated a traffic stop on Hwy 38 and 320th Street near Hopkinton, IA. Timothy R. Boge of Anamosa, IA, was charged with Driving While License Under Suspension, Possession of Controlled Substance - Marijuana 1st, , Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was also cited with Failure to Provide Proof of Financial Liability.

On November 5, 2018, at approximately 7:05 a.m., the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a vehicle-deer accident on 250th Street. Madalynne E. Naab, of Delhi, IA, was traveling east when a deer struck the left front of the vehicle. The vehicle went off into the south ditch and struck a tree on the right side and spun around and struck another tree on the left side.

On November 4, 2018, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office conducted a traffic stop on 300th Avenue north of 160th Street, Earlville, IA. Angela M. Noethe of Masonville, IA, was charged with Operating While Under the Influence 1st Offense. She was also cited with Driving on Wrong Side of Two Way Highway, Speeding, and Failure to Provide Proof of Financial Liability.

On November 1, 2018, at approximately 10:44 a.m., the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a single-vehicle accident on 235th Avenue. Joshua W. Krogman, of Farley, IA, was traveling southbound and lost control and entered the east ditch. He was cited with Failure to Maintain Control and Fail to Obey Stop Sign.

On October 31, 2018, at approximately 8:35 P.m., the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a vehicle-deer accident on Hwy 20. Sayfonh Sambrookes, of Waterloo, IA, was traveling westbound when she struck a deer that had entered the roadway.
