BURGLARY AND CRIMINAL DAMAGE INVESTIGATION

CFS18-30610 11/28/18 16026 CTY T, BOSCOBEL, WI 53809 Between November 26, 2018, through November 28, 2018, an unknown individual or individuals, forced entry into the a machine shed at the old Hickory Grove School on CTY T in Hickory Grove Township. Two windows were broken out and a fire extinguisher was sprayed. Anyone with information regarding the persons responsible, are asked to contact the Grant County Sheriff's Office or Grant County Crimestoppers at 1-800-789-6600.

One Vehicle Crash

On Wednesday 28 November at approximately 5:28 p.m.,Timothy N. Toepfer (36) of Apple River IL was traveling east on STH 11 just west of the village of Hazel Green. Toepfer stated his vehicle spun out due to ice on the roadway and entered the right ditch. Toepfer's 1991 Black Lincoln crashed into the 35 mph reduce speed ahead sign and came to a rest approx.. 50 feet off the roadway. Toepfer was not injured in the crash but his 1991 Lincoln was towed by Scales Mound Sinclair Towing due to the damage. Icy road causes rollover

On Wednesday November 28 2018, at approximately 7:20 p.m., Steven Stanfley, age 57 of Lancaster, was operating his Ford F450 truck pulling a trailer, when the weight of the trailer pushed him through the intersection on the icy roads. The truck went through a fence, and overturned in a pasture. Stanfley had a minor hand injury, but was overall not injured at the time of crash. The accident occured on Old Potosi Road.Assisting at the scene was Bennett's Towing.
