On October 29, 2018, at approximately 1:05 p.m. the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a single-vehicle accident on Hwy 20. Willow F. Bauer, of Hazel Green, WI, was eastbound on Hwy 20 when she looked at her phone for directions causing her vehicle to go off the roadway and she over corrected causing her vehicle to enter the south ditch striking a cement culvert. She was cited with Failure to Maintain Control.

On October 28, 2018, at approximately 5:23 p.m. the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a single-vehicle accident on Hwy 13 north of Manchester, IA. James F. Hirsch, of Iowa City, IA, was traveling southbound on Hwy 13 and failed to properly negotiate a left hand curve in the roadway and lost control of the vehicle which left the roadway and went through a fence coming to rest in a ravine.
Hirsch was cited with speeding and failure to maintain control.

On October 25, 2018, at approximately 6:28 p.m. the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a two-vehicle accident on Hwy 20. Grant M. Kramer, of Farley, IA, was eastbound on Hwy 20 when he reached for a water bottle and took his eyes of the road and ran into the rear of a vehicle driven by Nicole Ridenour, of Manchester, IA, as she had slowed down to turn onto 260th Avenue. Kramer was cited for Following to Closely.

On October 25, 2018, at approximately 12:12 p.m. the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a single-vehicle accident on Hwy 38 near Pioneer Road. Jessica L. Andersen, of Delaware, IA, was southbound on Hwy 38 when she hit the shoulder of the road and over corrected causing her to lose control and roll the vehicle into the ditch.

On October 27, 2018, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office served a warrant on Justin R. Trumm, of Cascade, IA, for Trespass, Operate Vehicle Without Owners Consent, and 2 counts of Violation of No Contact/Protective Order. These charges stem from text messages sent by Trumm to the protected party from October 21 through October 24 and his presence and subsequent actions while on the property of the protected party on October 24.

On October 27, 2018, prior to serving the above warrant, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office received a call from the protected party from her residence near Dyersville, IA, stating Trumm was again at the residence violating the protective order. Upon arrival at the scene and investigation, Justin R. Trumm was arrested and charged with Trespass, Violation of No Contact/Protective Order and Stalking - Violation of Protective Order. Upon further investigation after Trumm's arrest of the above warrant and new charges, the protected party reported several text messages from Trumm that were in violation of the protective order. Subsequently, Trumm was charged with numerous charges of Violation of No Contact/Protective Order and Stalking - Violation of Protective Order.

On October 23, 2018, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office served a warrant on Lakeisha D. Davis, of Madison, WI for Probation Violation.

On October 23, 2018, at approximately 6:20 a.m. the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a two-vehicle accident on 110th Avenue. Scott D. Stick, of Alburnett, IA, was driving a tractor trailer and attempting to back into a drive on 110th Avenue. Brian K. Wortham, of Winthrop, IA, was southbound on 110th Avenue and was unable to slow down or stop for the tractor trailer and made contact. Wortham was cited for Violation - Financial Liability - Accident.

On October 20, 2018, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office served a warrant on Carl Harmon, of Cedar Rapids, IA, for a Probation Violation.

On October 20, 2018, at approximately 12:08 a.m., the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a vehicle-deer accident on 210th Street west of Manchester. Ryan W. Peyton, of Manchester, IA, was traveling westbound when he struck a deer that had entered the roadway.

On October 18, 2018, at approximately 2:30 a.m., the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a single-vehicle accident on X47. Jane R. Schultz, of Dyersville, IA, was traveling northbound on x47 and swerved to miss a deer in the roadway. Schultz went into the west ditch and stopped in a field.

On October 17, 2018, at approximately 3:03 a.m., the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a vehicle-deer accident on 310th Avenue. Mathew J. Payton, of Monticello, IA, was southbound on 310th Avenue when a deer entered the roadway and Payton was unable to avoid hitting the deer.

On October 17, 2018, at approximately 7:20 a.m., the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a single vehicle rollover accident on Pioneer Road near Delhi, IA. Bryan T. Wilson, of Manchester, IA, was traveling south on Pioneer Rd and swerved to avoid a deer in the roadway. Wilson lost control of his vehicle on the gravel road and the vehicle overturned once and landed on all four tires. The two rear passengers did not have their seatbelts on and were ejected when the vehicle rolled. Wilson was cited for violating his minors school license.

On October 16, 2018, at approximately 10:28 a.m., the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a vehicle-deer accident on 197th Avenue. Linda K. Recker, of Manchester, IA, was southbound on 197th Avenue when several deer entered the roadway. Recker was unable to avoid the deer and struck one of them.

On October 14, 2018, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office served a warrant on Kara Laufenberg, of Waterloo, IA, for Failure to Appear.

On October 11, 2018, the Delaware County Sheriff's served a warrant on David A. Kenyon, of Mason City, IA, for Controlled Substances, Second or Subsequent Offense and 3 counts of Wholesale Distribution of Drug to Unauthorized Person. The charges stem from an incident occurring on September 26, 2018.
Upon service of the warrant, the Sheriff's Office was informed that Mr. Kenyon had again been on the premises of the incident from September 26 engaging in the same behavior. After an investigation, David A. Kenyon, was charged again with Controlled Substances, Second or Subsequent Offense. Also charged in this incident were Elizabeth Gates and Alichia Velazquez, both of Delhi, IA, with Unlawful Possession of Prescription Drugs.

On October 7, 2018, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office conducted a traffic stop on Hwy 3 west of Colesburg, IA. Cody J. Simons, of Colesburg, IA, was cited with Driving While License Suspended and Possession of Alcohol Under Legal Age.

On October 6, 2018, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office served a warrant on Laura Johnson, of Olin, IA, for Failure to Appear.

On October 5, 2018, at approximately 3:30 p.m. the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to single-vehicle accident on 290th Street. Nancy J. Williams, of Hopkinton, IA was traveling eastbound on 290th Street and lost control of the vehicle and entered the north ditch.
Williams was cited with Failure to Maintain Control.

On October 4, 2018, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office served a search warrant at a residence on 210th Avenue, Delhi, IA. After an investigation, Tony Woodruff of Delhi, IA, was charged with Theft 2nd Degree, Controlled Substance Violation, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

On October 3, 2018, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office served a search warrant at a residence on Jefferson Road, Manchester, IA. After an investigation, Charles J. Leppert, of Manchester, IA, was charged with Theft 1st Degree, Theft 2nd Degree, and multiple counts of Burglary 3rd Degree.

On October 3, 2018, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office assisted the Manchester Police Department by serving warrants and transporting Jacob Blauer, of Cedar Rapids, IA, for Theft 3rd Degree.
