Hiding Out

On 10/18/2018 the Fayette County Sheriff’s took a report of a wanted subject hiding out in the Hawkeye area. An investigation led Deputies to a traffic stop after observing Lisa Diana Schroeder, 38 of Waucoma driving northbound on T Ave. It was known by Deputies that Schroeder was wanted out of Fayette County for parole violations and Winneshiek County for forgery and theft. Schroeder was arrested and Charged with Driving While Revoked a Serious Misdemeanor, Operating While under the Influence 3rd Offense, a D Felony, No Insurance, Fraudulent use of Registration, No SR on File, and Operating a non-registered vehicle, all Simple Misdemeanors. Schroeder was taken into custody and transported to the Fayette County Jail, where she was held. The investigation also led Deputies to a residence near Hawkeye and a search was conducted. Jacob Roy Wehrkamp, age 42 of Hawkeye was arrested and charged with Driving While Barred, an Aggravated Misdemeanor and possession of drug paraphernalia, a Simple Misdemeaonr. Wehrkamp was taken to the Fayette county jail and held . This is an ongoing investigation and more arrests and charges could be filed at a later date.
