Distrubance leads to mulitple charges CFS18-22530 09/03/18 N MAIN ST, POTOSI, WI 53820

On September 3, 2018 at about 5:20 PM the Grant County Sheriff's Office received a 9-1-1 call about a physical domestic disturbance on N. Main Street, Potosi, WI. The investigating deputies learned that Scott Wilker, 51, and adult female, both of that address, were involved in a disturbance. Wilker had reportedly been upset about the female victim and her minor daughter having gone to look at puppies. When Wilker started to confront the minor daughter, the adult female told him to stop. Wilker allegedly struck the adult female and threw her on the floor of their home. The minor daughter then ran to the neighbors to ask for help. During this time, neighbors reported that they saw Wilker leave the house driving a black Dodge Ram pickup truck, doing a "burnout" on the street in front of his home as he drove away. Wilker drove up the street a short distance and then returned. That was when additional physical abuse took place, in which the adult female victim was injured. It was also determined that Wilker was under the influence and his ability to drive was impaired. Wilker was arrested for Disorderly Conduct, Substantial Battery, and OWI 10th Offense. He was booked into the Grant County Jail for these charges.
